Pop-Up Restaurant program for 2020 is here!
The Pop-Up Restaurant will be back again after last year’s success and will be an important part of Åre Gastronomy Week.
Together along with Melleruds Pilsner, can we now present the six winners of the Chef of the Year, who will take over the Pop-Up Restaurant during the week to create taste experiences beyond the ordinary.
But just like last year, it’s not the Chef of the Year who runs the kitchen. Lena Flaten from Restaurant Flamman in Storlien together with Svensk Cater will select the ingredients that will form the basis of the Chefs’ menus. The raw ingredients will be sourced directly from the region’s forests, mountains and streams to create the local feel we strive for during Åre Gastronomy Week. It will be selection of the purest kind, hand-picked from Jämtland farmers, growers and food artisans. The dishes are then paired with beer from Mellerud’s Organic Product series and fantastic wines for the optimal taste experience.
